We are a community-driven resource dedicated to helping dog owners find golf courses across the UK that welcome their four-legged companions.
Our Mission
Many golfers love spending time on the course with their dogs, but finding courses with clear dog-friendly policies can be challenging. We aim to make this easier by collecting and sharing information about dog policies at golf courses throughout the UK.
How It Works
The directory combines policies independently checked by Dog Friendly Golf with additional course information sourced from DogGolf.info. Every course shows its information source and whether Dog Friendly Golf has verified the policy, so you can judge the confidence before planning a journey.
A first-paw DogGolf.info review is treated separately from a sourced listing. Where one exists, we link to it as useful supporting reading without replacing Dog Friendly Golf's verification status. Policies can change, so always confirm practical restrictions with the club before travelling.
Dog policies are clearly marked:
- Dogs under controlThe source says dogs may be off-lead where the club permits it, provided they remain under close control
- Lead requiredThe source says dogs must be kept on a lead during the visit
